Mission Statement

Funded by the U.S. Department of Education, as a Demonstration Project to Ensure Students with Disabilities Receive a Quality Higher Education, the mission of EnACT is to support students with disabilities within the California State University in attaining their postsecondary educational goals. Recognizing that faculty play a pivotal role in the success of all students, including students with disabilities, EnACT is designed to provide faculty within the CSU system the skills, support and training necessary to ensure that students with disabilities are provided a high quality postsecondary education.

Goals

EnACT achieves three distinct yet interconnected goals in support of postsecondary students with disabilities:
  1. Collaboration to Ensure Access to a Quality Postsecondary Education;
  2. Technology to Ensure Access to a Quality Postsecondary Education;
  3. Dissemination of EnACT Content and Processes

Accessible Instructional Media

These online multimedia resources model and demonstrate the successful implementation of educational practices or innovative technologies utilized in the teaching and learning process. AIM are created by faculty and staff to answer questions or challenges faced by educators attempting to implement the principles of Universal Design for Learning or address accessibility-related issues that interfere with student success.
